There are again different types of molar pregnancy faced by a woman. It can be complete mole where there is no placenta, fetus, amniotic fluid, but there are moles like bunch of grapes. The uterus in such a case seems to be bigger than the normal period of gestation. While on the other hand, in the case of partial mole, two sperm fertilizes the same egg. As a result, though placenta, fetus, membranes would be present, but they would be present partially. This might result in twin pregnancy where there are rare chances of the survival of a twin, or it might also result in genetic problems with the baby.

Some of the common symptoms of molar pregnancy include:

  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Huge size of the uterus
  • Increased levels of hcg
  • Increased vomiting and nausea
  • No movement of the fetus or detection of the heart beat

In such a case, it is very essential to consult a doctor at the earliest where the doctor would carry out the diagnosis to detect the problem and offer suggestions in accordance with the condition of the woman. At the same time, sufficient importance should also be given to the nutritional requirements of the woman, especially in protein and carotene, because the deficiency of these nutrients can result in molar pregnancy.
