As a result, though placenta, fetus, membranes would be present, but they would be present partially. This might result in twin pregnancy where there are rare chances of the survival of a twin, or it might also result in genetic problems with the baby.

Some of the common symptoms of molar pregnancy include:

  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Huge size of the uterus
  • Increased levels of hcg
  • Increased vomiting and nausea
  • No movement of the fetus or detection of the heart beat

In such a case, it is very essential to consult a doctor at the earliest where the doctor would carry out the diagnosis to detect the problem and offer suggestions in accordance with the condition of the woman. At the same time, sufficient importance should also be given to the nutritional requirements of the woman, especially in protein and carotene, because the deficiency of these nutrients can result in molar pregnancy.
